In addition, we are excited to be involved with the JED Campus Foundation program and are working with them over the next four years to look at ways to address mental health on our campus. As part of this initiative, there is a multidisciplinary team that meets to work on these planning initiatives. We also wanted to highlight that our student leaders and staff work collaboratively to address mental health on our campus. They receive training on mental health issues such as Q.P.R. Suicide Prevention Training, Recognizing and Responding to Students In Distress, Bystander Trainings and additional trainings offered by our Counseling Services staff. We also conduct mental health programming throughout the year on campus such as at Fresh Check Day, our mental health awareness and check in day, Stress Free Finals, Pet Therapy and more.
